Please Note: As we do not use the same tools on each customer. On your first visit, there will be a small charge of £3.00 for a tool kit that you take away with you and bring back each visit.

Gel Polish Nails – After Care Advice

If you want your gorgeous new nail polish to last, all you have to do is give them a little care
and attention.
Your polish will last longer if you follow the following advice:

Always wear gloves when doing any cleaning or dishwashing as harsh chemicals can affect the Shellacs strength and cause chipping.
Use cuticle oil twice daily – this will make sure your cuticles don’t dry and look unsightly. Oil also creates a protective barrier around the Shellac polish, helping to protect the gel from water and other chemicals that may affect it.
Don’t pick at anything and when cutting or cooking, make sure to be very careful no to cut your nail with anything sharp as this will cause chipping.
Do not file the nails. Filing will break the free edge seal causing the gel to lift.
